Trend Spotlight: Pastels

     We totally get you if you associate dreamy pastel shades with this year’s Springtime. Lately, we’ve been seeing the cutest colors left and right - from pistachio greens and buttery yellow popcorns, all the way to cool lavenders. The runways and the streets were splashed with these sorbet-inspired shades and we’re living for it! From jackets, pants, accessories, shoes, and even hair - pastel has definitely taken over the scene (and our hearts). And who could forget their self care essentials especially now when most of us have the time to pamper ourselves at home - with skincare packaging and nail art making them look so cute you want to eat it! The best part of pastels is you can definitely wear these shades well into the summer months for as long as you want to look cute!

1. Fresh Greens

Green has been the favorite of many designers lately. Slime green took over last season, while the recent months brought a more relaxed and mellow version. Pistachio, mint, and seafoam green have been featured by designers such as Chrsitian Siriano, and has made its way everywhere from sweaters, to shoes, and even reusable water bottles! 2. All About Pink

Millennial pink has been popular these past few years with brands like Glossier and celebs such as Kendall Jenner all hailing the shade as their go-to. Soon, fashionistas of every age started filling their closets with this dainty and fresh color. It doesn’t matter if you’re a girly-girl or not, nor does it matter what generation you’re from! 3. Buttery Popcorn

Don’t mind the naysayers - yellow is actually super flattering as long as you get the right shade! Thankfully, the buttery pastel yellow easily goes well regardless of skin tone, as compared to the more eye catching and bright takes of the color. There’s no need to go overboard with it though! 4. Soothing Lilac

Just because we’re on quarantine doesn’t mean we can’t jump on the pastel trend and have our fun! Here are some ideas how you can live and breathe this color trend while you look cute for yourself at home!

1. Paint your nails

If you’re anything like us, your nails are dying for a fresh coat of polish. Switch things up and reach for a bottle of pastel-hued polish instead and make them look oh so yummy!
