Pink with Purpose: Blackbough for Breast Cancer Awareness
At Blackbough, we're more than a swimwear brand; we're a community of women who stand united, empowered, and unapologetically strong. Our journey began with a vision of celebrating the beauty and resilience of women from all walks of life. As a brand founded by a woman and composed of incredible women, breast cancer awareness holds a special place in our hearts. The statistics reveal a sobering reality: 1 in 8 women in the United States will face the challenge of breast cancer in their lifetime. This figure reinforces the importance of raising awareness and standing shoulder to shoulder in support of those impacted. We are committed to using our platform for the betterment of women's lives.
This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we're excited to launch our breast cancer awareness initiative with our main beneficiary being the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF).
A Pink Promise: Kyoto Pink
Each Kyoto Pink piece carries a deeper meaning and a greater purpose. For this collection, we're excited to announce that we'll be donating 100% of the net profit to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) from October until the rest of 2023.
With each purchase from our Kyoto Pink Collection, we're including a pink breast cancer pin and an information card. This card serves as both a token of our gratitude and a source of information about our beneficiary. It’s our way of showing our deep appreciation for your contribution to this important cause and a reminder that small decisions can make an amazing impact!
Supporting BCRF's Critical Mission
The Breast Cancer Research Foundation is a nonprofit organization committed to achieving prevention and a cure for breast cancer. BCRF provides critical funding for cancer research worldwide, fueling advances in tumor biology, genetics, prevention, treatment, metastasis, and survivorship. It is the highest rated breast cancer research organization in the United States, supported by brands such as Ulta Beauty, Estee Lauder, Clinique, Bobbi Brown, and more.
By choosing Kyoto Pink, you are also making an impact and supporting BCRF's mission and breast cancer research. We stand with those impacted by breast cancer and recognize the strength and resilience of thrivers—those currently facing the disease. We want to create a safe and supportive space for everyone to join us in making an active stand against breast cancer.
